ACUPRESSURE AS METHOD FOR REDUCING HEAD PAIN IN TENSION TYPE HEADACHE: CASE REPORT

Background: Acupressure is a method that can reduce or eliminate headaches without using drugs. It works by stimulating certain points through pressure / massage on the surface of body fingers blunt objects for fitness purposes to relieve pain in tension headaches. Tension type headache (TTH) most common tends be considered not serious because it causes mild symptoms some cases. TTH felt back head (occipitalis) and front (frontalis) which tense due permanent contraction muscles scalp, forehead neck accompanied extracranial vasoconstriction persist period time. Benefits acupressure calm nerves caused discomforts such as headache. Summary case: A 37-year-old woman presented with described being tied rope around her heavy area since week ago. She diagnosed received doctor's treatment.
